RHW transition puzzle pieces

Hi all, I've recently installed the RHW, and to be honest I'm struggling hard to work with it. However I feel I can figure it out and it looks great in suburbs and more rural areas!

The only problem I can't see a solution or cause for is that whenever I select the transition puzzle pieces tool the arrow is always red. It says it should turn grey when I can place a transition piece, but I can't even cycle through the pieces, nothing shows up except a red arrow. When I try to click I just hear the sound that you hear when something is unplacable.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here? Many thanks in advance!

Defecto, you've got an obsolete set of RUL Files sitting in your Plugins, more than likely remnants of an outdated NAM version still sitting in there.  Judging by the sounds of your description, that outdated file is likely from the April 2008 NAM or even earlier.
