New to SC4 Delux - some questions

I installed Simcity 4 Delux a few weeks ago and have a few questions -

1) In the train missions I'm often unable to see the arrows/points to change the direction of the train (left/right). This doesn't effect the car or helicopter missions I've been doing, but it makes the first train mission impossible to complete. Here are some screenshots:

The arrows are missing. Is there a fix?

2) I've seen movement dirrection arrows in a few screenshots like the one below. Is there a mod I can install or is it in the game?

The first one I never saw before.

The second one is the route query tool.  It's a new feature in Rush Hour/Deluxe.  Click on the button under the query tool and then click on a transportation element or building.

I'm guessing here, but did you remember to select left-hand drive when installing the NAM?

Thanks guys, was hoping this was a common bug and therefore easily fixed.

Yes I do have the left-hand drive version of NAM, although I did at first install the wrong one which left all MT dead. (My fault for ignoring big chunks of the instructions)

My game version is 1.1.638.0, and ea says I'm 'up-to-date'?

After uninstalling NAM the points problem is fixed, all the arrows appear correctly. When I reinstall NAM the points become broken again. NAM was the only mod I had installed when I discovered this problem. I've got no idea what to do now - Does NAM change any files that aren't in the plugins folder?
