Applications for mac?

 Hey guys, where can I get applications to make maps, land marks, e.t.c?

Unfortunately for us, nearly all of the custom content creation tools, released either by Maxis, or the community, were released exclusively for PC.

BUT you might have luck running them in Wine (called Darwine for Macs, pretty much the same thing). http://www.kronenberg.org/darwine/ I don't have a mac, so I won't be able to help with everything, but I'm pretty good with using Wine (in Linux), so I might be able to help some if you have problems.
