My game looks like a rave acid trip's aftermath, anyone mind helping me out?

This is just odd, i started up SC4 to get some release screens for my bridge, ans well.. this happened...

it worked fine before i did anything 26.gif

Did you install any new plugins? Perhaps those are the problem. Looking at it, it's ether that, or a virus or something modified the city file (.SC4 file) and messed it up.

    it seems like it wasj ust some odd hickup, because after i removed my plugins, and put them back in again, it works 30.gif

    This has happened to me, except it looked a wee bit worse...

    I assumed it happened to me simply because I had waaaay too many props and was moving too fast for my computer, so it just seized up and did this. My mouse was also moving extrodinarly slow and just jumping across the screen...I was able to exit out eventually, but when I started it up again the results were the same. After restarting my entire computer it cleared up.

    It's happened to me twice since then.

    Please ensure that images posted on the forums don't exceed the site limit of 800x600.

    Texture failures happen every once in a while. just get on with your life. I've never experienced one, but it's only a matter of time for all of us... DUN DUN DUN!

    Yeah.. that's way worse than my case, for some reason though, this happened in a relatively empty city tile :S

    for best results... run sim city with the software rendering... not hardware...

    i used to think that the hardware was better bc i have an awesome video card (8800gtx) however the software is far less buggy and wayy smoother
