Region Introduction

Mnla1

Manila is known for its vast grass lands and has a reputation for being a region with barley any trees. The region offers a nice mountain range and warm shore lines. The region is also known for having somewhat tropical climate with only two seasons. Summer, and rainy season. During the summer, temperatures can reach as much as 45 degrees Celsius (113 degrees Fahrenheit) outside leaving everybody inside to cool down. During the rainy season, on the other hand, temperatures go down to as much as just 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit) giving the region quite a lot to offer its residents. The "vast" lands are also very fertile allowing for seasonal crops to grow. The country's capital, Eastmoore, is located just a town away from its coast line giving it access to a vital trading route.

    Eastmoore

    Mnla2

Eastmoore is the capital city of Manila. Previously, however, the capital of the country is a town called Bellington just off the coast. Now, however, the town's growth has put it on the top. Many things can be found in Eastmoore. For one, the Jenning's D3 Race Track which is considered the city's landmark which can be seen from space.

    Eastmoore2.jpg

Another is the Service Square located in the center of the city. It is where all public services for the city are.

    Eastmoore3.jpg

Although the library was a little bit far as it was big and the placns called for a larger area.

    Eastmoore4.jpg

And lastly, the Whiteplains Subdivision, the most exclusive and only subdivision in the city.

    Eastmoore5.jpg

Please comment more on what you want to see in the region and I'll try putting it in.

Twenty20: I couldn't find a nice monument but I did find a landmark, the race track.

    Bellington

    Mnla4

Bellington was the nations capital. For about 300 years, the Spanish occupied the country. It was the longest occupation of any kind in that time. During that time, the country was still empty. Only Bellington and a few other towns existed. The Spanish regime was "god, gold, glory" The main reason they actually occupied the Philippines was for resources. Most of the mountain areas were full of natural resources you could find no where else. So, the Spanish came and abused each and everyone of the people only for the Philippines to be sold out to the Americans in the deal called "Kasunduan sa Paris" (Agreement in Paris (translated)) Today, the county is now free from oppression.

     Back to Bellington...

The only left traces of Spanish in the entire region was the church in the heart of Bellington.

    Bellington3.jpg

There's something else you don't know about the town. The town is a fishing harbor. The ancestral people that lived here fished for food and a living. Only now, the process of fishing has been modernized.

    Bellington4.jpg

This is the town's newest developmental area. It gave about 900 people a place to call home.

    Bellington6.jpg

Lastly, this is the D-Zone. It's called D for dirty. This is where most industrial buildings are located. The town officials have already taken a precaution to contain the said zone due to environmental problems that may arise.

    Bellington5.jpg

Please comment more on what you would like to see around the region.

    News. News. News.

    Mnla5

So, as society moves on, it consumes whatever resource it can get its hands on. The utilization of fossil fuels was a big leap forward. Now, it has been overused too much that, instead of doing more good.. It's doing more bad. The bad of this is obviously pollution. Pollution is, for me, the only by product of these said fuels. So, the president of Manila quickly implemented a law to completely cover all unused areas of a city with trees in a period of 1 year. Eastmoore and Bellington quickly applied having import a total of §700,000 worth of trees from Europe. Environmentalists say that these trees are not to survive the harsh weather here, but the government say that they have already consulted European environmentalists and scientists about this.

    Eastmoore7.jpg

As a result of this, pollution has reduced from 200 to just 110 the graph seen below.

    Eastmoore8.jpg

Mayor May Goldstein has just announced the opening of the new EICTL or Eastmoore InterCity Train Line which will span to most of the cities and towns possible. The Eastmoore terminal station is already operational today and will continue to be operational for 100 years as expected.

    Eastmoore6.jpg

Trains will also be connecting the industrial zone to some neighboring towns and cities.

    Eastmoore10.jpg

    Eastmoore9.jpg

Please comment and tell me what you want to see in the region.

I liked that station a lot, you've got your railways covered. ^^ And that region has much potential, looks very simple but because of that, it leaves a lot of room to develop as much as you want. I'll be checking back for more.

    Eastmoore Airport

    Mnla6

The Goldstein International Airport was named afer the mayor of the city, May Goldstein. The airport was built in an effort to increase commerse not only in the city but the entire region. And, without a doubt, many of the airlines took the opportunity and immediately sent flights to the said airport. The airport terminal is only to handle Boeing 747's for maximum efficiency of the area. Today is it's opening day. And, as you will later see, all the spots for planes are now full. On the side of things, the exclusive Learjet club has set up its headquarters here. The total budget for the airport was at least §1,000,000. On the other hand the increase in monthly income has gone up by §7,000.

Awesome! I really like what you did with the factories! 4.gif

Though, I may not be able to participate in the new city planning program, it would really be nice to see a hydroelectric power plant near the location of the real-life dam. ;D
