NAM - Sim Z query

Hi folks,

I have a quick question for some bright sparks out there!

What is this Simulated Z thing folk talk about for when using the NAM? Is this I will already have installed or is it an option I need to select.

If I need to uninstall the NAM and install it again do I need to re-install all the other add ons I have.....SAM/RHW etc?

Simulator Z is a traffic simulator made by Z and is an option you have to select to install. If no custom traffic simulator is selected the installer will simple install simulator C, which is the game default traffic simulator. And if you uninstall the NAM and then install the same version you don't need to re-install the ad-ons, but if you install a totally new version of the NAM, chances are that the SAM, RHW, etc. are updated aswell and for that you need to re-install them aswell.

The option for selecting Simulator Z can be found on the page of the NAM installer that directly follows the license agreement; it is entitled "Click + to select Traffic Controller Files."  Although what Korot says is true about the add-ons, if you reinstall the NAM, it will always default to the basic Maxis simulator unless you specify a different one.
