Running SC4 w/ OpenGL

In my never-ending attempt to run SC4 properly in hardware rendering mode w/ an ATI card (4870X2, specifically), I want to try running the game w/ OpenGL instead of DirectX.  Pardon my ignorance on this, but do I only have to plug "-d:DirectX/Software/OpenGL" as a switch into the command line and run the game?  Or do I need to do anything else?
