I got SimCity 4 for my old XP computer, and made a couple of cities. Soon, I got a snazzy new laptop, and installed SimCity 4 on that one. I want to get my cities from the old computer to the new one so I can make them grow even more, but I have no idea how! Please help! Two of them are small, one on top of another with a medium one to the left of the two of them. if that helps.

Just go into your My Documents folder > Simcity 4 > Regions on your XP machine and copy the region which has the cities you want into the same folder on the Vista computer using a flash drive/cd/whatever. Then when you load simcity up on your new pc just click "Load Region" and chose the one with your cities from the old PC face-icon-small-smile.gif

Correct. Here are the things you need to do:

1. Get a USB flash drive. It doesn't matter what size it is for your purposes, but I have 2 GB, and that works well for me.

2. Go to your My Documents/Simcity 4/Regions folder. There are your regions. Just copy them to your flash drive.

3. Pull out the flash drive, put it in your new laptop, and there they are!

4. Copy the regions from the flash drive to your new laptop.

5. Delete the region files from your flash drive, and set it in a safe place.

6. Double click the Simcity 4 icon on your desktop, and start playing 3.gif.

Hope you'll be playing SC4 on your new computer soon.
