Let's Discuss Capital Cities -- and recreate the PFB

We are doing some testing behind the scenes.   We are trying to deliberate recreate the page flip bug.   We are asking for your help in doing so.

Rules for this thread:

Post anything about a capital city.  Capital of a country, capital of state, capital of whatever.   

Examples of acceptable posts:

Annapolis is on the water quote>

 

 

Paris is the capital of France quote>

There is no two post rule here.   Post as many times as you like, as long as you are saying something about any capital city.

 

We are trying to recreate the page flip bug which means we will need several pages.

Step 2 of this test will commence after we have 8 or 10 pages.

    Yes, we are testing a theory we have developed after prior tests.

    btw, Washington, DC has lots of pretty white buildings

    In Hartford, Hereford, and Hampshire, hurricane hardly happen.

    but London is still the capital, not any of those places.

    Annapolis is the capital of Maryland.  The only state capital without it's own airport. 

    Kinda short on museums too.  But the whole place is a museum.  Take a walk down main street and you can still see the colonial port that it used to be.

    quite true.  The Capitol is a building.  one of the aforementioned pretty white buildings in Washington, DC

    one would think that the capital of Pennsylvania would be Philadelphia since it was a major player in colonial days.  but no.  Harrisburg is the capital.  I know not why.

    Is the capital of New Zealand Auckland or Wellington?   I guess abcvs will let us know when he gets here.
