Hi, mrdahjr,

It doesn't look like this lot was ever updated, no.  So, there are a couple options.  If you really like these lots, you could make sure they aren't in a subfolder in Plugins, go into Lot Editor, find the lots, delete the base textures, or just add one of your choice if they're transparent, Save (Save As will create a new lot) and the texture will change without having to replop any lots in your cities.  These are really simplified instructions, so if you haven't used Lot Editor and have any questions, let me know.  Or, you could search for different tree lots on the STEX.  I really think there are some nice ones, with newer tree models, by metasmurf, Andreas, etc., seasonal if you like, that don't have this issue.

Being a Mac user, Lot Editor isn't an option as far as I know.
