NAM 2009 - IS NOT WORKING!! HELP

I downlaoded the resent NAM 2009 version, and I went into game and heres what happend:

All the icons of the new NAM were there, but when I clicked on the, and tried to place them, either i couldn't or nothing appeared

ie: glr-in-road 

can anyone help me fix this?

I installed it into my plugins folder

Two questions...

Did you have a previous NAM installed? If so, did you completely remove it first?

What version of the game do you have? NAM requires Deluxe or Rush Hour.

I have simcity 4 deluxe,

and yea i did have the previous NAM version

but I thought i deleted all of it

is there anyway to check

If you used the installer for the previous NAM, it should have all been in the Network Addon Mod folder. Deleting that should have gotten rid of everything. Of course, if you moved any files, you would need to find them. Also, if you had any of the related transportation mods installed (SAM, HSRP, RHW) you need to delete them and reinstall.

The download should have included a Cleanitol list. This would give you a list of all the files needing to be deleted. It's quite lengthy, so if you happen to have Cleanitol installed, you could use that. If you do, you will probably be better off to delete the current NAM, run Cleanitol, then reinstall NAM and any other components you want.

One more thing... if you are using the color cursor, does the cursor appear red when selecting NAM items from the menu? If it does, that usually indicates older files still exist.

i dont think its red, but it might be

but i still have RHW, sam, etc still instaleld ill try and delete those

but i cant find any of em

Ok... Let us know if any problems still exist. Oh yes, you might want to use the newest versions of the RHW and HSRP (they've been changed). SAM is still the same version 3 but will work with the new NAM.
