Ordinances

I have read some things, such as descriptions on some STEX items for download, that mention ordinances. What are these and how are they used in game? I tried to do a search but odds are I didn't do it right.

If you go to your finance window and expand it, click on the "City Ordinance" one and that will open up the ones in the game, I'm not sure if this is what you are asking about or not/

What is the finance window? Do you mean the extended budget window that pops up when you click on the income/expense chart on the right-hand side of the mayor UI?

thats the 1, it breaks down your income and expenses. there is an option in the red section saying ordinances and if you click on it you can select different ordinances that help your city in some way but for a cost

That is very good, thank you. There is a download on the STEX that was talking about all these ordinances and I couldn't figure out what it meant. And the casino needs an ordinance, too.

There is a mod in the mods section that adds radical(I mean radical)ordinances and modifies them.

Ex: Power consumption reduced- Lowers power consumption to 5% so that a wind mill can run a large city, the same thing with water consumption.

There are few others also.
