Using Mods on My Mac

Am I not understanding the File Juicer requirement correctly?  Doesn't that extract USABLE files for the Mac version of SC4, such as .dat files?  I've downloaded several mods such as the snowcap mods, and the simolean mods, which give me .dat files w/o using the File Juicer.   Do I need to use the file juicer on these files anyway?  None of them are working for me.  I thought that only applied to .exe files.

Moved to Mac forum.

FileJuicer is for exe files only.  Most files on the STEX are not exe, so you don't have to use it for those. 

And it's not only dat files you're looking for.  Also look for sc4model and sc4desc files.  They need to go in your plugins folder as well.
