Majel Barrett Roddenberry Dies

Majel Barrett died Dec 18th of leukemia, I'm surprised I and the other Trekkies on ST missed it. She was 76. Her funeral was yesterday. [link]

Besides being Gene Roddenberry's wife, she was also Nurse Chapel on the original Star Trek , Ambassador Troi on Star Trek the Next Generation, the voice of the ship computer on NG and Voyager, and many smaller voice-over spots on various shows. She was the voice of Stewie's ship (inside Peter Griffin) on Family Guy just a few years ago, for example.

She will always be the most perfect pseudo-synthesized voice ever, IMO.

I think my favorite role of hers is Lwaxana Troi.    I could certainly sympathize with Deanna.

Mine too, she always made things difficult for Picard. Specialy in  the Ménage à Troi episode.

Her acting got much better since the original series.
