Maps designed for easy city building?

Can anyone recommend some custom maps that are designed for easy city building? I prefer the ones that is designed for you to build as many structures on there as possible. For example, it should have water separating lands so a bridge  and ferry can be built.

There are several maps available on the STEX. Here is a relatively new one I found the other day. This might be good for what you are looking for.

Goit, why don't you start with a blank map and use plop water? Plop water will allow you to remove and design your own canal system to your exact specifications. It can also be removed at anytime so you won't end up screwing up and not being able to go back into god mode. There are many canal packs on the STEX.

Avenue, Road, One-Way road and street bridges can built by placing them on land and putting in canal pieces next to them. Unfortunatly, Ferrys cannot be built.

I recommend SimGoobers canal packs.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you meant exactly by "canal packs" is it the PEG's shopping mall canals?

Similar to those in a way. SG's canals let you design rivers to your liking. There are several canals out there that allow maximum creativity without the limitations of real water. If you are looking for a map with real water, just search on the STEX, I am sure you will find something that will suit your needs. Good luck!

Hi, I can't get the maps to load, I have both the jpg and bmp in the regions folder, but the map won't generate.

I suggest you get a tool called SC4Mapper.

It's easy to use and makes it alot easier to bring in other peoples custom maps.
