okay this is the weirdest thing i have ever seen I was on the Zune forums and post after post people said their 30GB Zune were freezing on 100% on the loading screens. there is at least 108 people who have had this happen and thats only on one forum thread that I was looking at there is a bunch of others who have had this happen including myself. From what I have read people have had their Zune plugged in or docked except in my case I didn't. Anybody here have it happen? Please post if you have I am really curious as to what Microsoft is doing/ going to do with so many people being affected. I think its a conspiracy theory that Microsoft is some how wirelesly shutting all the 30GB Zunes down so people go buy the newer ones to boost sales or something. Seriously if you don't believe ask me for a screen shot and I will give you nine pictures of all the posts on one of the forum threads about this problem. this is the freakiest thing ever its Y2K for the Zune aka: Z2K O_O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This whole problem was first reported around 12 am Pacific Standard Time on Dec. 31 on the Microsoft Zune Forums

I wonder if it has anything to do with where you get your music, as in whether or not it's properly licensed.

Let no one yield, we're on the field where deeds eclipse the sun; where the brave are told on a thread of gold, the tapestry is spun. As they speak of dreams, their armor gleams, this calm before the storm... Where all can see their destiny, the bishop takes the pawn.

Wouldn't surprise me. That's the kind of crap you have to put up with when you deal with DRM.

All affected Zunes should now be functioning assuming their batteries have completely drained.
