Parking lot question

The parking lot says it has to be adjacent to the mass transit ( Bus, Train Monorail and etc ), What is adjacent anyway? Is it next to the Mass Transit stand? And if it is, must it be directly next to it? Or can it stay a few meters away from it?

Of course, a parking lot can be a two or three tiles away from a station but it's best to put it just next to a station because the sims are really lazy and they don't like walking. 1.gif

Oh. Thanks for the info =) I guess I'll shift my parking lot a few tiles away then.

Are there parking lots in the STEX?  I always wondered if I could get them.  Do they help with traffic?  Or commute times?  Or are you talking about the PARKING RAMP?

Yes, there are a lot of parking lots in the STEX. Just search for 'parking lot' or just 'parking' and you should find some. And yes, they help traffic, because if you place a parking garage next to a station in a residential area it'll increase the usage of the station. If you have the NAM and like making pedestrian streets, you can put a garage that sits next to the pedestrian street and a road so the sims will park their cars in the garage and will walk to their destination. The sims don't walk farther than 6 tiles (without NAM) but with the NAM this number can be increased. I hope I've helped 4.gif

P.S.The best parking lots / garages for me are these: Shmails 1x3 Parking Set, NDEX ITS Multi Story Carpark and NDEX Parking Lots By Ardecila.

I have got another question. Sorry if this isn't the Appropriate place. Anyway, are there any other Super Demand Ordinances other than Buggi's one? Cause it doesn't raise the demand to 500% and keep it there for as long as you turn it on. I know the Radical Ordinance Mod has it, but I just need the Super Demand stuff.

And another question bout the Super demand stuff, does it affect the job availability for my Sims?

Thanks very much for wasting your time on me :3
