Hey all,

After playing Simcity4 for many hours, I created my newest city, called: Vlemtuka.

The city isn't that big, has only 24.000 inhabitants, but looks like a big city. There are about 40.000 jobs. I'ts a green city with many paths and water. The center of the city lies on the main island. Also a few neighborhoods are on that island. Enjoy! 4.gif

1. This is the main island, with the city center and some neighborhoods on the hills.

vlemtuka1.jpg

2. There are thousands of little houses on the hills in the city. The highway is under construction.

vlemtuka2.jpg

3. More neighborhoods on the main island.

vlemtuka3.jpg

4. The highway will be used in the future, because there are no populated islands around the main island with population right now.

vlemtuka4.jpg

5. This is the city center, with some nice towers. This part of the city is very flat.

vlemtuka5.jpg

6. This was the first tower in the city. Now it's just a small tower in this large city center.

vlemtuka6.jpg

7. The largest church is located on the edge of the city center, near paths and water.

vlemtuka7.jpg

8. Back to the hilly neighborhoods.

vlemtuka8.jpg

9. The nice houses are everywhere on the hills.

vlemtuka9.jpg

10. Back to the city center. You can see that the normal neighborhoods are on hills.

vlemtuka10.jpg

11. The center was made in parts (districts) with many buildings next to each other.

vlemtuka11.jpg

12. There are many buildings of wood, but also of brick.

vlemtuka12.jpg

13. On the edges of the main island, there are many woods. People have a nice view over them, and also over the water.

vlemtuka13.jpg

14. The city center is flat.

vlemtuka14.jpg

15. This is a expensive part of the city, although the houses are quite normal.

vlemtuka15.jpg

16. Vlemtuka is now 500 years old. It's my first city that existed 500 years.

vlemtuka16.jpg

17. This is, again, the city center. You can see the coast, woods with paths, lower parts of the city center and nice large towers in the main district.

vlemtuka17.jpg

18. Again a picture of the city center, but now from another side.

vlemtuka18.jpg

19. This is the main bridge, located by the city center and a great island. Around the main island are many smaller islands, some of them have neighborhoods.

vlemtuka19.jpg

20. Around the city center are more islands with expensive neighborhoods.

vlemtuka20.jpg

21. This is a large neighborhood on the edge of the city, located on an island not far away from the main island. The neighborhood lies near the coast. You can also see a large hill with woods.

vlemtuka21.jpg

22. This is another neighborhood near the center.

vlemtuka22.jpg

23. Again a picture of the city center.

vlemtuka23.jpg

24. The whole city started here in a lower part near the highway. It's only a industrial/shops area.

vlemtuka24.jpg

25. Nowadays the highway is used by many people.

vlemtuka25.jpg

26. Here you can see the contrast of old and new.

vlemtuka26.jpg

27. Last but not least a nice picture of the main district.

vlemtuka27.jpg

That was Vlemtuka, a modern city with many nice neighborhoods. I hope you enjoyed it. I really like comments. I try to update this CJ as soon as possible, but schools starts again next week. 4.gif

Looks like a great city, Simsplanet2!

I like the hill in that one picture. It seems very realistic with the ways the trees look on it.

    Keep up the good work!

Thank you. I have played at least 25 hours with this city. All has to be as I want, hehe 3.gif

Since yesterday I have an airport, one of Maxis, in my city. It's the smallest, but I don't like it. I don't like airplanes in my city, there are to much of them all the time... But I will check the Stex for nice airports.

The TNT building is from SC4Devotion, I think. I also got a Gamma and Albert Heijn in my game. Dutch company's 4.gif

It's not really an update, but I created my first on tower with BAT, called Wijnhaeve. It's now in Vlemtuka:

    Thanks people!

@aiumkastarkius; No, sorry. The building isn't completed and the textures are ugly. I won't upload it, but when I improve my BAT's, I will re-make the Wijnhaeve building and upload it.

@NinjaJoe; I downloaded just some trees from SC4Devotion.com and with my cursor I put it down on the ground, where it is possible. With standard Simcity trees you can also do that.

Beautiful terrain to build on, as well as those close ups around the city. They look very nice. Some leveling in those neighborhoods would be a great plus with appearance. As well as building some parks or planting tree's around the city. Concrete is great for big cities but too much concrete and it'll look plain.

Again great city, and that BAT looks very nice. I've been wanting to try my hand at making some buildings as well. Great job here.

Edit: If you download this Street Tree Mod you're city will look VERY alive. 48.gif
