How can I change from plop to grow

Just a quickie, how can I change buildings from plop to grow?

well if that is how to change plop to grow, where is a thread on grow to plop. This is mainly for residential lots that i want to make just eyecandy-no residents. Also how to change it so there are no sims living there so it doesn't abandon.

Easy.

1.Download the Lot Editor and Plugin Manager from EA's official site and instal on your computer.
2.Put the model file from the res building into the Plugin Manager and make it into a landmark.
3. Open up lot editor, and open a landmark lot, arrange it how it needs to be (correct size, base textures, etc.) and put your formerly residential but now Landmark building upon the lot. Use the Save As button.
4. ????
5. Profit.

Its simply that easy.

thanks, but is that for custom lots that are already made. i am not going to distribute them or anything but for lots that were made by gascooker (for example) how would i change those residential into landmark with no jobs. In the plugin manager i can't find where to select those lots. A tutorial would probably help

Ah, well first, make sure the models (which, no doubt are part of a prop pack) are not in a subfolder of your plugins folder. You may also want to know the models name, which can be found in the Lot Editor (select the building tab, hover the cursor above the build block of the work window, at the bottom of work window is the file ID and name).

Doing it this way is probably your best option, unless you are well versed on using iLive Reader.
