HOW CAN i GET RID OF GARBAGE DUMP i NO LONGER WANT?

First thing you have to do: stop using all caps in your posts. After that, you then cut off all road contact to that dump. Then, you wait a few ingame years and watch as the trash disapeers, but don't unzone any of the dump until all of the trash is gone. The equation for degradation of trash relies on landfill size, bigger being a bit better, though the last bit always takes a bit of time.

Here is what I usually do. Get Peg's Edgedumptrash lot....sorry forgot the real name, but its a trashlot that dumps the garbage off the edge of your citytile or into a river without polluting it ....... (search the STEX for Peg) , then build an incinerator just beside the dump and cut off the roadaccess,(no closer than five tiles away from the dump. Leave the dump itself with the incinerator attached to the road, but cut the road so that it does NOT connect with any other roads/streets etc.)

Peg's lot will take of the new garbage and the incinerator will burn slowly all the garbage in your older dump that you wanna get rid of. It will take some time, but faster than just letting it rot by itself.
