New Simcity!

So what does everyone think of simcity creator on the wii? To those of you who have, what do you think? If you forget to give water to your buildings, you're for a spot of bother. That's right, a trick to density is WATER! Quote- "Buildings cannot reach their maximum density without water", in relation to another post. Once you really get it going, the night view over the water is just breath-taking, though i find the progress slower and softer. The hero buildings add an absolutely new aspect to this game. A city made out of candy? A city made out of gold? Historical? Stylish? Depending on what buildings you place and where, your city will take on a completely new style! I know i'm acting like an advertisement, but this new simcity is worth a try. Have a go, or at least research it. Like i said, the view is just spectacular at night.

Is the Wii the only console it is out on?  I would imagine it would be pretty cool.  I will have to try it out, if I could EVER find a Wii  LOL!!!!  They are out of stock everywhere.  I just bought SC4 like a month ago, so I will be playing that for sometime, but if Im ever luck enough to find a Wii, I will for sure buy SimCity Creator.

I might rent SCC (Simcity Creator) sometime to give it a try, but I was never really impressed with it. It looks very similar to SC3K, a game that's over 10 years old. The only different this time is that you can build roads at any angle.

I am still waiting for a successor to SC4, and right now it looks to be CXL (Cities XL). We'll see if EA and Maxis learned from their mistakes with SCS (Simcity Societies) and actually create a good Simcity game.

Ive played Simcity creator on wii  and Its a decent game , The curved road option is cool lol.

I don't have a wii - so I don't have simcity creator.And simcity 3,000 was a good game too , I am actually considering reinstalling it.(we went through a complete hard drive restore)I might get it before too long - but I would have to get a wii first.

Also, Simcity Creator is also out on DS, but it acts much more like simcity creator on the wii, taking a new rope. You have to achieve certain requirements as you work through different periods in time.

I find the controls via wiimote way too inaccurate, unless you have one hell of a steady hand.

i'd like to try the game, but i don't want to buy myself a Nintendo console-ish thing just to play it

Creator is OK. It just won't match up for hardcore city simulation players though.
