Noise Pollution

How much of an effect does the traffic noise really ahve in the game? Would it really make sims move out?

Because I have a city with a lot of traffic noise and I always figured that it was just a small kind of inconvenience but it wouldn't effect too much stuff.

Sims are very picky in where they live, so everything has to be absolutely perfect for them to live in a certain area. What you can do, is place trees and parks between the residential zones and the crowded noisy roads. Another thing that helps, is the dedwoods highway walls, they help to reduce noise pollution and look great in the game. You may also be interested in the Menu Management Lot, because the lots tend to clutter up your menu.

These look really good. And after testing, may be good choices for the Master List (just not sure what section yet). 

On the other hand I see that there are dependancies and the link is broken. So that will have to be dealt with.

I always like watching for Swat-Medic's helpful answers.

(Oh and while I like highway walls, I gotta tell you that it would be truly amazing if some modder created the exact look of the Great Salt Lake City, Utah highway walls... they are so cool, with a modern but mountan feel to them - great texture and design.  That would rock~!)
