Help for a new guy.

I'm new to SC4, but have been playing SC for many many years. I'm almost clueless here. I see stuff that people have posted on CJ and I don't know how they did it. They have things that I've never seen and I'm guessing that they downloaded them. I downloaded NAM today and I'm working on TerraFormer. But there are things that I can't figure out. In the picture below, somebody has a huge seaport, and I don't know how they did it. Also, there are a lot of buildings that I haven't found. If somebody could give me a link to these things, I would really appreciate it.

You can search on the STEX, and also SC4 Devotion, they have a pretty good selection, too.
