To all Mapp Squad mappers: If you are looking for an interesting area to map, just post here and I will be willing to scour my brain and my atlases for a terrain to fit your needs. Requests can be posted in two forms.

First: A general request for an interesting terrain. As an addition, I will occaisionally post interesting random geographic areas I have found.

Second: Feel free to post a request with general outlines for a terrain, such as region, percentage of terrain types, climate, water area, etc.

To start off TSS, I'll hand out some random locations:

1. Deadwood/Lead, South Dakota
2. Coos Bay, Oregon
3. Sandusky area, Ohio
4. Kelowna, British Columbia
5. Eureka/Arcata, California

Feel free to submit a request at any time.

TNS: Your request has been noted, I don't think I'll have much of a chance to work on it until a couple of weeks from now seeing as I'm leaving tomarrow on vacation to a leadership academy, then travelling to Omaha.

Once I get back, I'll get right on yours and any other requests.

Well, after a frustrating bout of dealing with a slow computer and acceleration settings, I have to say that I can not find elevation/terrain maps for requests, only advise of locations that fit a crieria for a region a person wants. But I am glad to be back home.

I'm glad to see you have returned...Anyway, do you know of any good areas in the US that would be cool to make a map of. Any suggestions would be great.

TNS: Some ideas I've had would include the Black Hills of South Dakota, Omaha, Nebraska, Lake Tahoe, and the Columbia River near Kettle Falls, WA are some ideas I've got of the top of my mind, oif you want some more, I'd be pleased to find additional locations.

Casper3141: In response to your request, I don't personally create maps, I just look for locations, but I'm sure one of the great mappers here would be pleased to add it to their queue if you listed it in the requests section.

After my most recent trip, I've thought up a new set of ideas I thought I'd list.

    Plumas County, California
    Reno, Nevada
Donner Pass, California (Could be included in a Reno region)
    Susanville, California
Lane County, Oregon (From Dexter to Crescent Lake)
    Lassen area, California

I guess it's pretty easy to guess where I went.
