Hmm!! I don't think PEG made anything like that. I have seen stuff like it.

Well. There's a tutorial page on how to do it, I'll search it for you later.

Basically it's making a prop that only appears at centain times of the year. In your case you have to make two renders, one with the cover and one without it and puth both on to the same lot, using the seasonal method you can make that the one with the cover appears i.e: in january, februrary, march... and the one without it in september, october, novermber, december...

I think the red on the tarps should be a little not be as bright, maybe a rusty red or something, it looks to bright to me, other than that, Its a great BAT!

I'll check the link you gave...if I can do this then it would be worth it.

I used pompeii red color on the velum...but I can experiment with other reds to see what looks best.

Okay I decided to test it in the game...it works fine.  The current lot size is 9x9.  I'm still designing the lot and the props for it...Notice the lion in the arena.  Here's the latest update:

Thanks to all for the support.  I'm still working on more props...one is a gate...plus the corner buildings for the lot.  I think I can now safely say that this bat will be out on Friday.

Does anyone think there should be jobs or not?  And if yes, how many and what wealth type?

Doesn't matter yet...that part comes at the end.

I've decided to give another update on the lot...more like a closer look.  The last image I showed was of somewhat poor quality...I've managed to render the building in donut-shaped LODs in order to be able to see props inside the arena...as well as outside the building.  I know these props don't go well in the arena...but they're the best ones I could find in the LE.  Currently, I've recreated better quality wall props...and added some trees.  I made my own palms and cypress trees...which I will later render and add to this lot.  As i'm still new to SimCity 4 and the LE...I'm continually browsing the prop files...just to see if there is anything that would go in nicely.  Anyway...here's the latest update:

I apologize for not releasing the project yesterday as I promised...but between work and school, as well as having 3 dying relatives...I've had very little time to do anything...I'll try to finish this ASAP...in the meantime...I've been working on a front gate prop for the lot...i've got to add a couple other additions as well as change the colour.  I'm almost done now with the entire project.

Here's a screenshot of the gate i'm working on:

This is a very nice project, very nicely executed!! I look forward for that.

May I suggest a later update? I'm sure you can play a little more with textures, especialy the roofs of the surrounding small buildings (a bit too red)..

Thanks for the tips...I love all your suggestions...though I do prefer the current red...but that's coz I just love the colour.

I have decided to terminate this project...meaning I will finish it...but I won't be uploading it to the STEX.  Sorry folks!  This is going to be my personal accomplishment.  And I am dedicating it to my grandmother who very recently passed away.

I will, however, make other BATs which I might upload in the future.  Thanks for all the support so far.

I am most impressed by the statue on top of the gates, I really can not make that kind of shapes with gmax.
Very sorry to hear about your grandmother.
