Curved roads & railroads: how?

I have downloaded the NAM and all associated files (at least as far as I know) but I don't know how to make curved roads and railroads.  Can someone tell me how to do this?

At the same time I have another two road problems.

I am unable to make roundabouts.  How to do this?

I am not able to connect my roads to highways so they seamlessly flow into each other.  How to do this?

For the curve road/rail, there are objects called puzzle pieces. On the road/rail pieces, press the tab button on the keyboard until the curve road/rail is selected. The roundabouts are on a tutorial in STEX, I think it is at the Omnibus.

Um... I need a little more advanced version of road [building], and definitely more railroad flexibility.

Any NAM people, i have more questions as well/
