Welcome to the great Northwoods. This is my third CJ and unlike the other two before this one, I will be having lots of trees and some farmland with cities, towns and villages of all sizes shown.

Cheats that I will be using:

Cheat codes, NAM, inspiration from Dedgren's (David) CJ (MD over at SC4Devotion) 3RR region (I am using the same region),

Terrain mod (I forgot which one I am using).

History of the region:

First settlements which are on Lacy Island (named for Lacy Roberson [Capt. Roberson's son and French Capt. L'Rowe's daughter got married])  located in Dedgren Bay where founded on August 19th, 1750 by french and British explorers. The largest settlement was settled by the British and named it Roberson Hill after Captain Bruce Roberson who named a nearby hill after himself. It currently has a population of alittle over 2,00 people. The smallest settlement is Rowe Bay which was founded by the French. The population is about 970. Both towns where incorporated the same day and share the only rail line on the Island.

A note to all visitors, This CJ will be updated every two weeks as I work on the every regional square.

Here is a picture of Lacy Island and the first two settlements:

So far the biggest city built.  Named for the river that runs through the heart of town. More of Oak creek will come in the next few updates.

Untill next time, Enjoy your stay. JKB

Wait a minute... that tiny island on the region map is three large city tiles? How big is that region?! Nice start anyway. And not that it matters, but I have relatives in Oak Creek, WI. No wonder the name sounded familiar at first.

Well, here is Update# 4 Oak Creek part one. The city of Oak Creek started out as a frontier town in 1890 by Bruce Schulmanator prospecting for gold in area rivers and hills/mountains. Fast forward 118 years and Oak Creek has grown to be the largest city in the region with a population of 72,000 and sproting a bus network OCTBC (Oak Creek Transit Bus Company). The city also has a Regional Airport and planning on building an International Airport soon. The name Oak Creek came as the river that bisects the city is named Oak Creek with two lakes. More history will come with the next update in two weeks.

    Now on to the replies=

Schulmanator: Thank you for both comments Bruce.

Fabsies55: It helps me on the planning and thank you for that kind comment.

Penguin007: Will, thanks and We think the same.

Zeddic: The region is huge, 16 by 16 large tiles. Oak Creek, Wisconsin is about 30 miles north of me near Milwaukee.

    Tia-may: Thank you.

    Now for the pictures:

I haven't seen your work before, but Northwoods looks like a pleasant town. I like the custom RHW interchanges, and also how the comm, res, and parks blend together.

You definatley have an excellent style of developing your areas. It has a real "rural" feel to it. I do have one question however, what are the green and red things in picture 5?

    Cheers.
