Garbage Cheat?

Is there a cheat to remove all garbage from your city, or for your city not to generate any garbage at all?

Regarding cheats, does the cheat "howdrymai" allow medium density zones or higher to be constructed? I know it eliminates the need for pipes, but does that affect medium density zones or higher, which require an extensive pipe system in order to develop at all?

I dont remember the cheats all that well. But i do know that if you build a waste to energy plant and turn the funding down to 0 it will still burn garbage, it just wont generate power from it.

Download the Radical Ordinances v2.0 from the Modds and Downloads section and enact the Garbage Gone ordinance, and you're problem should be over. The cheat "howdryiam" removes the need for water and med to hi density anything requires that to grow.

radical ordinances mod is overestimated .. it's better to download the hydro plasma converter from the stexchange .. that will convert garbage into water and power itl give some cost to it but the radical ordinances mod gives alot of negatives on the long term 2.gif

does anyone know of a less radical cheat? In fact, I'm just looking for a waste to energy plant that can burn more garbage. I don't want to completely eliminate the garbage problem, but I'm looking for something to make it more manageable than the default waste to energy plant. Any ideas?

Well, I found a glitch that takes care of all garbage and allows you to have $100 million+.

What you do is create 2 cities that are small but have a large ability to contain garbage. Then create a new city connected to those two and still make it small, but with NO GARBAGE DISPOSAL capabilities (dumps, recycling, landfills, etc.). Garbage will build up until a deal is made between your two neighbors. If an import option is not available, export with both until an import is. Cancel all deals, then select an import option of 10 units. Then use the export option on the other city to get rid of all of your trash.

If all goes well, you renew it every year, and you have a ton of money.

And NEVER build a trash disposal facility, or the deal will fail.

This is great if you don't have the expansion pack, like myself. I have $652 million and growing.
