Sorry about having this here (I don't want to start multiple topics in multiple sub-forums) and if this has been asked sorry about that (could you reply here or point me in the right direction) as I don't have enough time to search through the forums at this present time.

I was wondering if there was a mod that makes buildings build faster ad have ares get bought and developed faster  - in other word a mod that makes you end up with more building in a shorter period of time.

Also is there a way to make airplanes taxi along your taxiways in custom made airports (as I saw in a screenshot in another topic)

Are there also any must have addons for Railway systems and roads and highways etc. (I've already got the NAM though)

There's the Super Demand Mod - raises demand many times higher than usual. In an empty city, this lead to me growing R$ stage 8 buildings straightaway, though the resulting influx of residents completely overwhelmed city services.

Railway addons: Pegasus has a mod on his site (simpeg.com) that removes or limits the dirt texture on the railways. There's the electric railway mod (thanks to who helped me find that!), that will allow you to place power lines over rail. For roads (and streets), there's the Street Addon Mod, or you could try Trolca's dirt road mod. Both place custom textures on streets.

Sorry there's no links. My Internet is running on dialup cause I went over my download, and is extremely slow.

I downloaded this and installed it (under my document\Sim City 4\Plugins and then directly in that folder) and had a quick go but it didn't seem to increase demand for commercial.

What do I need to do to up the demand? (e.g. what do I need to build alongside)

hi to everybody. i've downloaded the mod to double the growth but it doesn't run. what can i do????

Just to bring this topic to attention again, do I need to do anything in particular to get the mod (link posted above) to work as it didn't seem to be working earlier.

If you're referring to the Super Demand Ordinance Mod I think it replaces one of the games ordinances and you may have to 'turn it on'. Check the City Ordinances menu.

What do I do to change the ordinance thingy?

After you place the Super Demand Mod in your Plugins, run the game. Open the City Ordinances options. You will find an entry for the Super Demand at the top. Check it's box.
