No Props or "Prop Pox Disease"

I have played Simcity 4 for a long time and yesterday I loaded my city and there are missing props in only a small area of the city. All props a missing: street lights, trees, everything, even the custom content. Just base textures are left.

Make sure your graphics setting has not change to a lower one.

From your decription, it doesn't sound like you changed anything, but...

A few things to check...

1) Graphics settings medium or high

2) You have the bldgprop_vol1.dat and bldgprop_vol2.dat files in your plugins

3) The same problem occurs with no plugins

If any of those don't alleviate the problem, then you might want to check this thread on SC4D. It deals with the random disappearance of things in sections of cities.

Thanks CaptCity for the link. From reading the thread on SC4D I have Prop Pox Disease in which there has been no cure found.

Just saw your post at SC4D and noticed you mentioned you had run DatPacker. Didn't realize you had and didn't think to ask before, but did you try to put your original files back in rather than use the DatPacked file? I've had cases where things are gone after running DatPacker on my Plugins. Just a thought...

Yes, I have tried replacing the files and it had no effect with the missing props.
