Downloading/Installing custom maps

i feel like im over-complicating the situation: how do you download custom maps from the exchange and install them so you can use them on sim city 4 rush hour?

Well, that would depend on the type of map being downloaded. You need to know if it is a standard map with a config and a greyscale image or if it was made by SC4Terraformer. Once you know that, you can find the instructions here... Good luck...
