I have looked everywhere but when using sound recorders at my other computer it doesnt record audio from the outside of the computer. on my laptop it goes the other way and starts recording the outside of the labtop which means that sounds can be suddenly heard if sombody made a noise. This is probably the wrong forum to ask this in but Oh well. the recording quality is bad when recording out of the speakers so I need help with this. My main computer has no microphone if that helps. Thanks n advance

What program are you using to do this recording?

What kind of sound card do you have?

What OS are you running?

Personally I've found that my computer doesn't like sound recording programs. I try to record but all I get as output is noise. I've come to the conclusion that the programs simply don't like something about my sound card (which is a Conexant AC-Link Audio).

Mr. Random: is there any label somewhere in your pc or box.

Or you can look on Device Manager under Sound Video and Game Controllers menu.

Your sound card should be listed there.
