ploppable houseing

i was curious after viewing through the suburbs section and seeing how fantastic everyones suburbs look and had a question if there is any modd or ploppable housing that will actually contribute to population? reason is because i see these awesome planned communities but for some reason i never get good looking housing or at least not where i want it. thanks in advance

Plopable residential, for some reason it just don't work. It's just a problem with the game. Sure, you could take some of the growable houses on the STEX and turn them into landmark lots in the Lot Editor, but this wouldn't increase the population and they'd just be static landmark lots.
