i was curious after viewing through the suburbs section and seeing how fantastic everyones suburbs look and had a question if there is any modd or ploppable housing that will actually contribute to population? reason is because i see these awesome planned communities but for some reason i never get good looking housing or at least not where i want it. thanks in advance

i have 641 mb of space on my e drive, and i have used it all up. nothing ever pops up in game, its just the game runs slower than it should and some of my dloads are not working correctly and i figured this could be why. i have not tried making a new plugins folder to see if it speeds up the game, but i will. thanks again in advance

honestly i do not know, im not at home but i think i dont have more than 400 files from what i remember it saying. alot of my dloads and modds i got off my stex ver 2 cd and some off the stex here. when i install them i have all of my folders set underplugins according to what they are to make it easier to access (like parks and sports venues in a folder named recreation and then sub files under it) when i put them in the sub files i go in and unzip the file, then delete the zipped file left. when i was dloading em off my cd it didnt option for me to unzip so i assumed they were already unzipped. i dont know how i filled up so fast because honestly, i dont have very many things loaded compared to what i notice many of you are running. im stumped and i just cant figure it out.

and i know im a *****, its terrible however, when i go into properties after getting on the simcity icon, it says im over my limit on my E drive. is this because i have uploaded too many things from the stex? if so how do i relocate these to keep them working. and one last thing, the computer is new and i have tons of room (i think) on it so i am suprised that i am running out of room. please dont laugh, but if you do, i will just laugh with =)

wanting to get some good residential styling in my cities, i just do not know what to download. i bought the stex cd 2 and did not find any residential housing styles in it. i love the style of housing in the dallas fort worth/tulsa/phoenix areas and would love to get my cities to have architecture like that. so any ideas of what would be a good modd to download off the stex? also, when im done making my golfing communities i want the nicer higher end homes scattered around the course, however i cant get that either. any suggestions? is their any way to keep industrial out of or at least at opposite ends of the map from residential. (small maps that is) thanks in advance, ive been working on a coastal area for awhile now and i cant wait to get my cj going!

sorry i forgot to add that the lots that are not showing parking lots are those similar to the bestbuy lots, walmart supercenters and such. again thank you so much for the fast reply! i hate being a newbie to this hahaha

some were zipped but some just went over without being zipped. everything came out ok, however on some of my ploppables im not seeing any night lights coming on and i have grass instead of front parking lots. also i went through the steps to get the palm pack with the lite palms, but they dont light. this is myf irst time doing this so sorry if its simple. again, thanks in advance for the help!

im moving files from my stex volume 2 cd over to my plugins folder, now will these work by just moving them over? i dont see how to unzip them bc they seem to already be that way. im going to sit here and wait since i have everything up already so a quick responce would be much appreciated!!! thanks in advance

i live in the states probably 8 hours from the canada border and i still have not recieved mine. i dont mind waiting either if thats what it takes, im just kind of annoyed that they will not return an email.

my friend i have run into the same problem. if i do not recieve mine im going to contact an agency that will be able to get my money back. i added alot more money than just the basic donation for the cd and still have no recieved a thing, nor an email. hope the delema gets fixed fast, i was always sceptical about doing it thats why i didnt for so long. chrish

i put in a donation over the amount for the second dvd and its been 2 weeks and i still have not recieved the disc. anyone have any problems like this? just curious as i did not know since i put in more than what was required will that effect anything? i emailed paypal@simtropolis and never recieved anything back pertaining to this. thank you in advance. chrish
