HELP-please

I have a problem: todai I downloaded five lots from the website. I went on to sc4 and everything was fine. Later, I downloaded another lot (ACE airport) and when I went back on to the game, all of the tutorials were reset somehow. Is there any way to get them back, or can they somehow be retreived through the computer? Several of those tutorials were well developed and I am now kind of depressed since some of my favorite cities are gone. Neiborhood connections will now be all messed up too, so several of my cities will now be losing money and my financial advisor will go nuts. Thanks for helping!

Unfortunately, the game encourages you to build on the tutorial region, while they are easily reset. In the future, avoid using that region, it's just too risky.

I know it sucks to lose your cities, but rather than try to get them back, only to possibly lose them again, I would suggest starting a new region. Also, make sure to back up your regions. (Well, I don't... but it's usually a good idea, especially if you've invested a lot of time into it)

Also the game does not save "revisions".. just the last save.. it's strongly suggested you do your own saves outside the "MYDOCS" folder now and then.. back up your regions and plugins at a minimum.

Thanks everyone! This happened to me once before, but i was just a casual player then. Facelessman-i have known for a while that i was stupid to build up my cities in the original region, and i am working on a new one right now. It's just for some reason tthat my one city became so successful before it lost money. sucks though that if it had happened later i could have gotten it more money by placing a money park in it that i just downloaded. Thanks for helping everyone!!!

Oh there is a way to use the Maxis regions and "un-tutorial" them... (ie unlink the tutorials from the maps).. I'm sorry but I have forgotten how I did it!? lolz.. I worked through that back in 2002 or so and my memory is pretty poor.. sorry.. Unlinking them makes the region "normal" so you can build without worry of "resets". Perhaps someone who has this on the tip of their tongue will see this and post the info..
