Interested to know if anyone has developed or improved the way the streets are named?

It takes me 10+ minutes just to think up a City Name, I'd never get anywhere if I named my streets.3.gif

I'm creative in some ways, but naming things is definitely not one of them.

I use streets from my hometown... I don't actually have street names, they take up time. Another way is make up something like "Blue Fish Cr.".

This signature does not exist. Continue on.

Some cities, of course, use numbers one way. For the streets going in the other direction you can be creative with different types of categories. I've seen some real cities use Presidents, go in the order of their presidency (even in the biggest cities you won't get to Bush.) You can use states or even types of trees or flowers in alphabetical order. These are very generic ways of naming them. Otherwise, your just going to have to be creative. One thing you can do is have streets all one way and avenues for the other direction. You can name them while your waiting for your city to develop.

sometime i will open up the local street directory, close my eyes, open a page and pick a spot with my finger.

if i like what i landed on, i use it. i know, i know - dumb, stupid but it works + it's a timesaver.
