I'm guessing your a truck driver then.  Sounds like a pretty interesting job traveling the country.

Well my day started out a little earlier than I had planned.  I have Narcolepsy and just started taking this new medication that is suppose to give me the restorative deep sleep I don't get on my own.  The prescription is Xyrem which is the legal form of the Schedule I (as illegal as a drug can get in the US) drug GHB (the date rape drug).   Last night was my second night taking it.  Since it has such a short half-life I have to take 1 dose at bedtime and 1 dose in the middle of the night.  The 1st night I slept great until the 2nd dose.  After taking it I had trouble falling asleep (took me 1 hour) so I sat in bed feeling the full effects and man was it weird.  But after I finally fell asleep I woke up after a few more hours and was refreshed and ready for the day.  I've never felt so refreshed in my whole life and I think everyone else really takes for granted being able to wake up and function like a normal person.

Anyways, last night I took my 1st dose as usual and climbed straight into bed and was asleep before the Xyrem even took effect.  I woke up for my 2nd dose 3 hours later and was feeling a little "drugged" but otherwise just fine.  Took the 2nd dose and fell right asleep.  Then 20 minutes later I awoke to stomach cramps and rushed (more like crawled) straight to the toilet where I vomited what little there was in my stomach and then continued to drive heave for another 10 minutes.  Once I got back to bed I couldn't fall asleep.  In small concentrations GHB acts as a stimulant.  So that's how my day started (at 2 in the morning).  The 3 hours of real Xyrem induced sleep I did get were far better than the 12 hours of narcolepsy sleep I am used to so I was at least still able to function.  I am taking leave from work right now and am hoping that this new medication will help me to get back to work.

Also got to see Wall-E today.  Highly recommended!

So smstevenms, do you get to travel all around the country or just a certain part of it?

We only need enjoy one day at a time.

    >>>BTW welcome to the Rolling Relay, to answer your last question first, I drive all 48 states. I don't care for the hassle of crossing the border (doesn't pay anyting more).
Can't say I understand your condition, but I only get 5-6 hrs of sleep my self. Stinks to have trouble with sleep, used to do many nights of no sleep, it's like being disconnected from reality. But just falling asleep and not being able to control that, that would be the end of my career, and even driving. The vomiting could have been due to an empty stomach, are you to take it on a full or empty stomach?

    >>>I have been off line for a bit. I was first taking care of backing up all my info on my laptop, then I sold that to my friend, as I was awaiting my Alienware system. The sent it on the 7th of this month but I had already left for the road, and I informed them of my schedule but they still rushed my system out anyways.
So I got it with a lighted keyboard that wasn't lit, turns out the plug in pin was backwards. It worked two days, they sent a new keyboard (which was bent) but turns out it's not the keyboard but the mother board. So now I have to send my computer back (I waited nearly 3mths for this) after installing many programs and games.
With all this going on and trying to find property (land) I haven't had much time for the forums, games, etc.
I just got back from the road yesterday, just spent a few hours organizing files so I can reback up my stuff. Today I'll be going to my storage, have to finish building a few things and finish repairing my wifes car.
Hoping it's not going to be to warm today as I will be outside working. Wish I had some time to play my PS3 games, never have much time to play.

    >>>Hope your have a great day or at least an average day, what do you like doing in your spare time? {passes relay}

PS: Anyone-Everyone, if you read above you'll know why I haven't replied in a while!

    >>> No one to reply to....

    >>> So I did get some building done, but of course I couldn't finish due to running out of short screws. So I went to working on the wifes car, and come to find out that the retro fit kit for the a/c doesn't fit mine. So I installed the compressor, the alternator (which under the a/c housing) and was going to install the master cylinder, but I did have the brake fluid so I just installed it but couldn't bleed them. Yes this was a day of half jobs, everything I attempted to do got half finished lol.
So I did try to find the right fitting for the retro kit but was unsuccessful. So not sure what I'll do to get that job completed, but I'm not taking it to a shop.

I went to see two movies yesterday, The Dark Night & Hancock. So if your interested read on, if not skip this paragraph.

    The Dark Night:
I hoped for more from this film. I liked the Batman Begins, it was a good start to a new beginning to the Batman saga. Keeping Christian Bale as our dark hero was a smart move by Christopher Nolan. This movie starts out slow, even with the introduction of the Joker, it's mild, but sets the mood and tone of the character. The one obvious difference with this Joker and Jack Nicholson's Joker is Keith Ledger's
Joker is more real world interpretation of a mad man who was traumatized as a child, and Jack Nicholson's Joker was more comical comic book like. Keith Ledger did a great job with this character, he was believable, and true to form. The length of the film didn't bother me as I had no idea it was nearly 2hrs, but I was waiting to see Hancock so I did notice the time, but if not for that I wouldn't have even realized that. The ending had a very touching ending and reminded me of what a hero really is. This movie takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride throughout the film, makes you consider what you might have done many times.

Now on the critical side. I felt this movie didn't show enough of Batman, sure he had is moments, but it was apparent after Keith Ledger's death and during the film that this movie was his movie. I came to see Christian Bale "the Batman", not the Joker. Let me put a better way, I came to see Batman battle the Joker and not vise versa. I felt there just wasn't enough action to drive me on the edge of my seat. The heart jerking, emotional twist are great but this is Batman.

All in all I felt this was Gothom but with a realistic feel, the characters seemed to belong and the comic book feel was still there but not as strong. You could say Batman is doing what X-men have done. I could recommend this to anybody, but just keep in mind that Batman is really not the star of this Dark Knight's tale, the Jokers is. 2 1/2 stars of 5The Dark Knight - Watch the trailers & clips

    Hancock:
This was a movie I wasn't sure what to expect, I'm sure this was the point. This started off with action and comedy, and got me ready for a wild ride. I was to wait a long while for this "wild ride" because it's a good while before things really pick up. The trailers kind of mis-lead in to believing that this is an entirely different movie than you're going to watch.
Don't get me wrong this movie doesn't fail to deliver a good performance and a new concept for a superhero, but it's no "Superman" movie.
This is more of interpersonal ride of the emotional baggage Hancock carry's with as he has a belief that he was abandoned. One man cares enough to help him turn things around after Hancock saves his life. Although the transition from the Hancock we meet in the beginning and sudden acceptance to  Ray Embrey (played by Jason Bateman) proposal, is not really clear. Nor is it apparent why the relationship continues between them, but non the less it's cute and warm. It doesn't take much before you feel close to Hancock, feel his pain and what it must be like to be him.
This movie gives us the Superman of today, a man who's Identity is known to all and all of his faults too. I really wanted to embrace this movie but I feel I can only do so if there are plans for another take on this, for this movie was like an introduction to Hancock and leaves you feeling like you just got to knowing him and he had to leave.

My only critical comments are that it was too short, and not the action movie I expected. But I walked feeling like I enjoyed it and will likely buy this one on DVD. 3 1/4 stars of 5Hancock - Watch the trailers & clips
