Power Plant Location

Where do you guys position your power plants?  Any place special?

normally if the power plant is dirty such as oil or coal place it with the dirty industry, this also goes for the waste to energy plant. if it is clean like the solar or hydrogen plant i would put it with the high tech industry....

I normally keep some space between industry and power plants, especially, when tey're nuclear....waste plants are built next to dumps, which also are more peripher

I put it in the outskirts of the city, somewhere near the greens. That is where in my place they put the power plants.

I put them in the industrial zones.

I place them next to my dirty industry - or by farmland(they dont move out - they just wont move in)

I keep them all in one place and call it my "utility district".

my green power plants(like windmills and natural gas)are usually found closer to the commercial areas.

the best way (yet unrealistic) requires NO mods or downloads is just place coal power plants in a blank neighboring city and just sell it over still very cheap plus the polution wont cary over from one city to another

I have at least a small industrial sector in every city so my power stations go there (except my solar power plant, which is in the centre of my city).

I normally place my dirty power plants in the dirty industrial area or in a undeveloped area, far from developments, and the clean power plants in the high tech area.

I usually post them next too a neighbour....only to realize that the one powerplant in one city is right next to the high-wealth area in the meighbouring city...not that it matters to them...BUT IT MATTERS TO ME ^^
