Wireless Router

Hi all, does anyone else have this problem? I have a wireless router hooked up so I can get interent on my laptop, and when I have it plugged in, I cant watch videos on the interent, or use AIM. Whats the deal, does anybody know? I wanted to contact customer support, but they required me to fill out extensive information, and I didnt want to clog their system with such a stupid complaint.

is your wireless router compatiable with your wireless card in your laptop? is your wifi enabled on the laptop?

what brand of wireless router is it? and is it effecting your laptop or your desktop?

Its a Belkin router, and it is messing with my desktop computer

Possibly a firewall problem. Does this happen when your desktop and your laptop are in use simultaneously, or only one of them.
