Lost confused new guy lol

hello,

Well i guess im not a newbie yet i am lol i joined this site a long time ago, downloaded a few things ended there but now i am back and wanted to try and get some of these awesome buildings and stuff downloaded, i downloaded a few and noticed the buildings are not there lol. So i figured i could come here and beg for help hahaha. Im not looking to get into the real indepth stuff just download some cool new buildings, if someone could please just give me a basic walk through of addons i need, or other files needed i would so appreciate it. I have computer knowledge just new to all this stuff so don't worry about completely dumbing it down, anything on the computer (C drive, folders, etc) im good at but like th file types and stuff needed for this semester i am lost.

also on a side note any tips or recommended downloads to get a HUGE city of people would be awesome i always get like 2000 and the world ends as i know it LOL

can anyone help? i just need to know what to look for to get the downloads to work? like i'll download buildings, the property appears but no buildings. can anyone give me any pointers or anything?

Shorty53077:  There is a pinned thread in this section all about what you are asking.  Useful Information For Newcomers To Simtropolis!

Make sure you pay attention to the pinned (red) threads at the top of each section of the site.  They are quite useful, and that's why they're pinned!
