"Music hath charms to soothe the savage breast" is an old proverb. Have you noticed that many dogs and cats like music? My wife's cats used to attack her when whe played violin, though. Something about sawing on cat gut, I expect.

Well, it is Memorial Day in the U.S. so they are taking the day to remember their war dead. Our Remembrance Day isn't until November with the rest of the Commonwealth of Nations.

I would like a repeat of my regular breakfast of Hot Chocolate, French style, a cruissant, and a wedge of Roquefort. That week in Bordeaux really spoiled me.

I assume that means the darling has gone to the rainbow bridge. Are you planning to get another dog?

Yes she has many years ago now,i still shed a tear now and again for her,i hand reared her so she was special.

I have two dogs now i got them three years ago from a dog rehoming site on the net.i will try to post a pic for you,i forget what size they have to be.

What about crumpets would they be good for breakfast on a hot day like this.

I think the size restriction on pictures has been removed. The 7.0 software has an automatic resize feature. However, I still keep to around 800 x 600 .jpg format because I have software that can do that easily.

The crumpets sound scrumptious. Two please, with regular coffee and some strawberry jam.

I just posted my earliest dog on the desktop thread. In that shot, Casey was around a year old. Hand raising an Irish Setter is just about as difficult as it comes, but we learned a lot by doing it. I am sure my wife picked him up at the Rainbow Bridge along with Paddy and Geordie when she went across. I have only Duffy waiting for me there.

When I moved to this small place, I had to give up my two Irish red and whites back to the breeder, who promptly placed them in Cleveland, OH. I had some pictures from the new owner, and they seemed quite happy.

Morning Jackie. Hot chocolate please, with a croissant and some grape jelly. If you want to see my last two dogs that I had to return when I moved, they are on the first page of my web site here. You might find some of the stuff interesting. I use it instead of imageshack as I don't post pictures much. Besides, I get to edit it ad libitum.
