so i was wondering where all our roller coaster freaks are! im one, and i'd like to see who else is. this is a forum to comment on coasters, and challange each other on better roller coasters. and i will start off. i live in florida, so i have my fair share of theme parks and roller coasters. my favorite is deffinately space mountain at disney 9.gif9.gif9.gif. i'm just kidding. that was actually my first roller coaster when i was 4. now, at 17, i have been to many parks on the east coast of the united states, but my all time favorite is montu at busch gardens africa in tampa florida. it is an inverted coaster (your feet are hanging (for you uneducated in coaster language)) and has 7 inversions. it is awesome, and i was lucky enough to ride it about 1 month ago to the day. so what are your favorites?

o, and by the way, if you have any questions on the specs or where to find some of the coasters named, just go to rcdb.com. they have a very good search engine. they usually have specs, and pics of the coaster.

I live in Minnesota so the only 2 theme parks that we have are Valley Fair (Shakopee) and Nickelodean Park or something arounds those lines (Mall of America)

I like rollercoasters too, i have only been to those two though. My favorite one is either Steel Venom in Valley Fair of Wild Thing in Valley Fair. Wild Thing might hold a record for longest free-fall drop at around 210 feet of so.

All people have to go on kingda ka just once

i didn't find it brilliant but the bragging rights for going on it made a long trip worth it

don't get me wrong it is a good ride but i prefer the top thrill dragster at cedar point

The Wild Thing is hardly the tallest traditional coaster anywhere, just in the state. I believe Millennium Force at Cedar Point is roughly 50% taller and goes over 85 MPH. Too bad I was afraid of most coasters when I was at Cedar Point, because I'll ride anything now.

Kiwi n Grapes: Wild Thing is close to being the tallest...about 246 feet off 3.gif!

simsider: i wanna go to cedar point sooooo badly.

nottheboss: and i wanna ride kingda ka. i dont care how short it is, just to say that i went up 456ft. and went 128 mph on a roller coaster.

Ratieya455: top thrill dragster goes 120 mph
