NAM - Need help

Hey guys,

I've been trying to figure out how to use NAM, but I've searched and I can't find any help. I posted in the other forum, but the guys just told me to view the readme file.... That doesn't help me much. Could you tell me how to get my sim to take not the most direct route but the way I want him/her to?

You have no option on the route they take unless you leave only one route.. the SC4 exe sets the algorithm for the pathfinding heuristic including all paths and all transport options

So basically, I leave it to the game to find the best route as long as i have NAM installed?

When you install NAM be sure to select one of the pathfinding options, by default you're left with non-NAM pathfinding... which is abysmal. Shortest route by distance, period, even if it means clogging residential streets. With NAM - if you select a pathfinding option - the simulator evaluates travel *time*, thus sims will travel a little out of the way to take faster routes, mass transit, highways, etc....

i also have problem with nam. i install it but city still dilapidated due to commute time.
