Neddiggis...I knew there was a reason, otherwise it would already have been done, the BSC folks never miss a trick. When I do download from them I use that prop list religiously. But more details about the prop packs and how they are arranged helps in coordination with downloads, and I thank you so much for the deeper understanding.

It is always good to have another angle described to better understand. In fact, I've recently come across an example of your long answer and it is, indeed, very cumbersome. Your explanation encouraged me to try again. I decided to just take the plunge and am currently braving the daunting task of downloading some CAM starter packs and their dependancies from SC4D. True, the site is not perfect (which site is?)and can sometimes be fustrating, but if one considers the massive amount of files they have and how quickly those files are updated and increased in number, one can certainly appreciate the mind boggling job they do of keeping track of all those dependancies for you. The more I download the more respect I have for the folks over there. Thanks, without you pointing me to see things from another point of view, I'd be missing out.

My appreciation goes out to the creative programmers and artists who have built all of this custom content. I have tried to carefully follow the pointers to the dependcy files for the various mods and propos I've downloaded. So far the 41 folders in my my "Plugins" folder seem to be working together OK.

It would be nice it some of these files could be packaged or at least organized together. Maybe when SC5 comes out there will be some sort of tool that will allow the right dependency file to be located when it is missing.

hi all i have a problem when i boot up sc4 it tells me i have a plugin pack missing but only gives this number

(plugin pack 753989692) i do no how to find and install what i need in packs etc but not by a number like this.any help please?
