Deleted Regions

Lets say you accidentally had one too many Capn and Cokes or whatever and you trashed one of the regions that  the game provides (I think it was called Fairview??).

Is there a way to get these back without reinstalling?

Secondly, lets say you start a region like the "New York" one, make some cities and hate everything and want to re-start the region from scrap, is there a way to do that? Deleting the cities flattens the terrain out completely....

I don't think it is possible to retrieve it again. You may have to reinstall game. And for the New York just go into the cities and press "obliterate" on God mode.

If you just want to dump the whole region, and if it is one of the regions that came with the game you can copy it from the Program Files/Maxis/SimCity4/Regions folder. Demolishing a city with the 'obliterate' button will erase any development, but any changes in terrain will remain.
