Is it wrong that i make this thread hotdogs, because no body has told me to stop.  At least not a moderator.  Oh and thought just come into my head so i post it.

If have not heard of Nikolas Tesla in any books this is why.   When he was alive the Federal Reserve wanted to make a deal with him because he had discovered in the late 1800s how take electricity from the earth.  The fed jump on that idea and said hey you make a deal with us and we will all be rich with money.  Nikolas Tesla said he did not want to because he just wanted to benifit the world.  This kind of electricity had no expence for poor people.  And the fed got mad and said dont let this guy get on anybooks or any thing.  But now he is making a comeback.  Have you guys ever heard of the "Tesla" car?

John Walsh, the guy on America's Most Wanted.

He was in a horrible situation:  the murder of his 6 year old son.   Instead of letting it get him down, he decided to fight back .   He successfully petitioned Congress to get laws changed.  He went on to establish an effective mechanism for fighting crime.

He took a terrible situation and managed to get something positive out of it.

This one has the possibilities of being an interesting discussion.

I believe hotdog's point is:  you don't have to post every thought that comes into your head.  As my former boss used to say:  just because it happens between your ears, doesn't mean it has to come out of your mouth.  or off your fingers, as the case may be.

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. The church grows by attraction, not proselytizing.    - Pope Francis

I presume you mean "Nikola Tesla". You misspelled it twice...aaand spelled it differently both of those times. Plus, you've got several instances of missing punctuation, and a misplaced space.

There's nothing wrong with posting a lot of stuff in and of itself, but ti's important to put in the little extra effort to actually make it proper and not be sloppy about it- because people are going to think less of you if you keep being sloppy like that. That's really the key of what makes it look spammy- it's not the high quantity, it's the low quality. Be neater about it and you'll be doing both yourself and everyone else a favor- you because people will think better of you, and everyone else because they won't have to be annoyed at reading poorly formatted posts.

...all that said, the question "who is your hero?" is not one I have an answer to. I don't have any given hero. Sue, there may be people I admire, but "hero" is too strong a word, and picking just one is impossible. Especially since every person I can say I admire had their flaws- nobody's perfect, after all.

the "engleesh moofin pizzass" dude from those cable commercials...actually no...Dokken is my hero!

seriously though, can I say I don't have any sort of "hero", instead a strong admiration of certain people/groups doing things that really strike me as great.

I don't have a hero as such, but the person that I most admire and respect is the late Carl Sagan. He has done more for popular science than anybody else in history. He should have been the Ambassador to Earth.

Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere) 3.gif j/k.

It depends on the situation to whom I look up. I don't have one hero, because everyone has his flaws (EDIT: yeah, well pretty much what Duke87 said).
