Do you have the NAM?

If not, you can download it in the mods and downloads section of this site. Then, make sure you download the NAM update on the STEX.

If that still doesn't solve your problem (you already have those), then try to manually "plop" the interchange. You can find the stack in the custom interchanges tab in the highways menu. Just press TAB a few times till you find it.

I hope this solves your problem! 4.gif

Okay, then you have a conflicting plugin then.

Make sure you have the latest NAM installed, and that you have NO previous NAMs installed (like the January 2007 NAM). Anything you have downloaded that is not compatible with the latest NAM may also cause the problem.

I would suggest removing ALL your NAM files, reinstalling the June 2007 NAM and the January 2008 NAM update. Then see if it works. If it doesn't then you have another conflicting plugin. Happy hunting!

The interchanges take a LOT of room.. AND they must be on PERFECTLY FLAT GROUND.. with NOTHING ELSE that will interfere. I expect this is your problem.. Do they terraforming first, or just use the tab-keys to select and place the interchange you want.

SC4BOY: The stack doesn't need to be on perfectly flat ground, nor does any other highway interchange. As long as your prompted, and have the correct and up-to-date mods installed, it should work no matter what.

Its a different story for other networks, such as one-ways or the RHW.

Sounds like 2 versions of the NAM are installed...The game is looking in old files for new content.

hmm.. I guess that's true and not related to his prob.. since the menu ASKED him if he wanted to add, it at least thought it would work. If the terrain had been inappropriate, it wouldn't even have asked.

EDIT: WOW!! I went back and gave a look at the NEW NAM and how it handles this.. MAN O MAN does it work WAAAAY better than the old one.. sheez.. I put one on the side of a modest mountain range and crossed it and *PLOP* it just dropped right into place.. looked a bit strange since it was very rough, but I'm sure it works perfectly.. even looks pretty good from a roadways perspective googy slope or not.. hehe

I haven't placed one in a LOONG time, but boy is it improved!
