Create regions

Hi, My name's Erik and I'm a swedish sc4 user. I have one question. How (and where) can I find new regions to download and how do I get them into the game? May sound stupid, but I'm very new in this so I

Okay here's everything you need to know.

First of all, you can't use any maps created with SC4 Terraformer. That program was written by SC4 fans (I think) and doesn't have a Mac version.

What you need to find is map with a greyscale image and a config.bmp. Once you do, read this thread:

And follow the instructions. The method for installing these is almost exactly the same, except for two things:

First, the correct folder on Mac is Home/Documents/SimCity 4/Regions. You may notice that there is a regions folder in your Applications folder, but you cannot use your region maps there.

Secondly, when you are ready to render the map in the game, push shift + control + option + R. That's basically the Mac translation of the Windows version of the instructions.
