SimCity Societies Religon

Dear Simtropolis Users:

I recently bought SimCity Societies, and realized straight away that religon was a major aspect of the game. I viewed the instruction booklet, and as a strong believer in Jesus Christ (I'm Baptist), a few things troubled me about the game. First off, could someone explain to me how the religon exactly works? Is there some way for Christains to turn off the faith aspect of the game, or alter it to either a more Christian system of beliefs, or remove the controversial aspects of the game (more on that later)? After all, the Bible, the Sacred Text of Christianity, states that the worshiping of another god other than the One True God in any shape, form, or fashion, even virtual, is a sin. Second, some of the "special" Sims are a little controversial. The main ones I speak of are the Fighting Monks and Faith Healers. Also, Monks in general are a little extreme for a believer in Christ such as myself, as extremisim is not valued by me. Is there a mod or download that could help with this? Surely I'm not the only deeply religous person on this site. Is there anyone who could help, and not criticize me?
