Just noticed im in the Simcity Societies forum!!  im very sorry if someone could move this for me I cant thank you!!   Moved as requested.  N_O_Body

I downloaded some new stuff and im planning on creating a new region.

I have some questions though.

1. You all talk about euro, chicago, NY tileset what is this i have read my manual inside out (i was told to look there) and i also read most of the forum took ages can anyone help me on this?

2. More importantly my reoccuring problem.

I want to create a region, and im planning on doing the outskirts of my cities, in a low wealth mountainous style, but it alsways changes to become a middle or even high wealth residential area...how can i stop this...

Also all the buildings are through each other is there no way to even things out and give some areas a more realistic feel to it?

I dowloaded Peg mountain style buildings to give a more ranchy feel to it aswell (extra info ;-) )

Oh my friend, the euro, chicago, and NY tilesets are available in the mayor menu ONLY if you have Sim City 4 Deluxe or Rush Hour installed.  If you do have that, enter the mayor menu and find the blue button with the selection of those tilesets.  They determin what Maxis building will grow.

For your second question; don't provide water!  Middle and high wealth will not grow without water.  Also, refrain on any school, police stations ect. 

When the buildings are through each other, it means there is too much of a slope.  Download the PEG leveler here to make your land flat, then plop or zone your buildings.  (You can also use single street tiles to flatten the land, but on a much smaller scale.)
